	Challenge 2010 Emma vs Spyder As a project to give back to our community, we conducted this "challenge" to raise money for the Indiana PA Four Footed Friends and a special thanks from Emma & Spyder to every one who has contributed to this project to help their Four Footed Friends
5 lap quilts and 2 pillows have been completed thanks to our very generous volunteers	Catherine Martin (age 10) tied this quilt for the 4 Footed Friends Her Grandmother, Dorinda Patti, helped back it and bind it.			Elaine Harmon
The quilts & pillows have been given to the Four-Footed friends and I understand that they were delighted with them. They are busy now making decisions on how they can best use them to benefit their facility. We will keep you updated.	Many thank you's are due to all of the quilters who helped piece the blocks. To Elaine and Thelma who did the quilt piecing. To Cindy Bush, Nancy Steffee, Elaine Harmon, Catherine Martin and Dorinda Patti who did the quilting and tying and binding. 	When does a WIP become a UFO? It starts out as a WHIMM (Work Hidden in My Mind.) After a FART (Fabric Acquisition Road Trip) and some SEX (Stash Enhancing eXperience), it becomes a PIG (Project In a Grocery Sack). The PIG becomes a HSY (pronounced hissy .... meaning Haven't Started Yet). Once you have a HSY-fit and begin work, it becomes a WIP (Work in Progress). The WIP becomes a UFO (UnFulfilled Opportunity....I like that better than Unfinished Object which sounds so negative) as soon as some other project grabs and holds your attention more than the project that was a WIP. Sewing Machine Service & Repair	Tim (the sewing machine man) is back and will make repairs and tune-ups on any brand of sewing machines. Standard machines will be $34.95 and electronic machines and sergers will be $54.95. He will pick up one week and return two weeks later. Tim is very good and knows his machines. We are glad to welcome him as a service to you. Note: Tune-ups only for electronic machines.
